Google is offering users more creative freedom with doubled AI credit allocations and enhanced video capabilities in its filmmaking tool Flow.

Since its debut at Google I/O 2025, Flow – built for creators and powered by Google DeepMind’s models Veo, Imagen, and Gemini – has enabled seamless creation of cinematic clips and scenes with unmatched realism and consistency.

With the software recently passing over 100 million videos generated, Google is doubling AI Ultra subscribers’ credit limits from 12,500 to 25,000 per month.

This means users can produce far more Flow-generated content, from short films to creative shorts.

These credits also apply to Whisk, Google’s AI experiment allowing users to generate images with both text and image prompts.

This unified credit system makes it easier for Ultra users to switch between video and image creation without hitting limits.

The update enhances Flow’s value by enabling richer storytelling, especially with the most advanced model, Veo 3, which supports not only visuals but also audio generation – including dialogue and sound effects – for more immersive storytelling.

Currently, Flow is available to subscribers of Google AI Pro and Ultra plans, with Ultra subscribers getting both higher usage limits and early access to Veo 3.

The augmented credit system increases the tool’s practicality for filmmakers, educators, and creatives who rely on sustained idea generation and iteration.

With this upgrade, Google underscores its commitment to making Flow a powerful, scalable platform for AI-powered filmmaking, empowering creators to explore stories without technical limitations.
