The tech boss has been an executive for Amazon and Selfridges over the years but is thrilled to have taken on the big job at the Britsh supermarket giant.
In a LinkedIn post, she said: “I can’t wait to make a difference in this ever evolving business and continue to enhance their customer and colleague experience.”

Sainsbury’s recently announced a new multi-year partnership with SAP that will see the consolidation of its legacy systems, with the aim of achieving increased business agility through cloud-based solutions, as well as a simplified and cost optimised technology estate.
SAP has been appointed to lead the design of the new solution in partnership with lead transformation partner Accenture and cloud provider AWS.
By adding new capability and capacity to its commercial systems, the retailer says it will be able to manage products on promotion in increasingly flexible ways, allowing a more tailored value experience for our customers.
