Triplebar Bio, Inc. has announced a development programme of disruptive generative AI genomic language models.

The biotech company’s CEO Maria Cho has stated as part of a strategic company initiative to leverage its unique capabilities to create game-changing amounts of proprietary genome-wide data linked to cellular function, the firm will be restructuring to substantially increase its focus on developing generative AI genomic language models.

Cho said: “The time for AI as a tool in biology is now, and we are uniquely positioned to make a significant impact in this sector with our partners.

“We are reorganizing the business to position ourselves for this next phase, which involves leveraging our datasets to train genomic language models.”

This new initiative includes making all company areas more efficient and leaner to ensure the success of this revolutionary effort.

Cho is confident that with the restructuring and by contributing the vast troves of data sets her firm generates daily, Triplebar will meet its objective of developing the new AI genomic model by early 2026 and disrupting the global food and medicine industry.

Cho added: “You’ve heard a lot about natural language models like those that enabled GPT4 or even protein models like those from Alphafold. Lesser known are genomic language models, which will be our focus.”

Triplebar is already creating proteins identical to those found in nature at lower cost and less environmental damage.

Cho said: “We are very excited to see just how much more we will be able to do for the global population by training AI models for food and medicine production.”

She explained that the restructuring ensures Triplebar is better prepared for the future.

Cho said: “Artificial intelligence is redefining and reshaping every sector of every industry around the world. For Triplebar, building the world’s most powerful genomic language model demonstrates the company’s adaptability to a world that is changing before our eyes because of technological advancements.”
